We believe in supporting the community, which is why we support a variety of local organizations.
BC Children's Hospital (BC Children's) provides expert health care, including mental health care, for the most seriously ill or injured children from across British Columbia. Child development and rehabilitation is provided by Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children, a program of BC Children's.
When you donate to the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS), you fund the brightest minds in cancer research to improve and save the lives of people with all types of cancer. You power a compassionate national support system to ensure no one faces cancer alone. And you help create health policies to make life better for Canadians affected by cancer.
The Cridge Centre for the Family is B.C.’s (and presumed to be Western Canada’s) oldest continuously operating non-profit society and is proud of its rich history. Providing excellence in support, housing, education and community, we work together to restore hope and a future to those overcoming the challenges before them.
Your efforts will help drive our innovative mental health programs leading to better access to care and a shared understanding among our Veterans, First Responders and their families that help is available.
Ryder Hesjedal’s Tour de Victoria
Ryder Hesjedal’s Tour de Victoria is produced by The Ryders Cycling Society of Canada, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and supporting cycling across Canada. We’re once again partnering with the Christmas Giving Network: a selection of charitable agencies in Greater Victoria that assist with the distribution of toys and hampers to underprivileged families at Christmas time.
OARCA was incorporated with a mission “To promote, support, encourage and present the sport of Open Water and Coastal Rowing in British Columbia and Canada”. Feeling that we needed a key initiating event to build public awareness and excitement, we hosted the first World Rowing Coastal Championships to be held in North America in October of 2018.
Central Saanich Community Gardens
The idea of a community garden in Central Saanich has been gathering interest from the community since October 2019. This was stewarded by a group of dedicated community members who have been working together to realize this idea through countless meetings to ensure that the gardens centre accessibility, education and inclusion.
